Description
A black and white photograph of Lt. James Dunsmuir in uniform mounted on his dappled grey horse Kismet, both subjects in profile, behind them the north facade of Hatley Park. On the front of the photograph in the bottom right corner "TRIO" is stamped and is encircled by the words "PHOTO BY" and "VICTORIA". On the back of the photograph on the top left corner "P6" is written in pencil.
Narrative
This photograph was taken during the same sitting as Craigdarroch Castle Collection 983.008 and 2007.004.035.
History of Use
This photograph was first used by the Dunsmuir family at Hatley Park and then later on the British Columbia mainland and on Vancouver Island.
