Description
a. a cream-colored earthenware bowl with a white fired high-gloss glaze, straight sides, rounded bottom, rounded top rim with a lip; b. a galvanized metal lid with deep metal sides (3.9cm) in the same shape as the bowl's rim, the lid stamped "The Queen’s Pudding Boiler No 16” and fitting to the bowl with friction augmented by two movable thin metal loops that snap in place over the bottom of the bowl, the top with one thin metal handle, the whole assemblage held to the lid through two flat rectangular-shaped metal loops attached to each side of the flat topped lid.
