This small 12-page booklet describes the purpose of Victoria College, lists the faculty, and explains the academic courses, examinations, and the requirements of students. The 120 students that attended during the 1922-1923 year are listed.
This Calendar aids in the understanding of Victoria College at Craigdarroch and it was collected for that reason.
History of Use
This book was previously owned by the donor’s late father, Dr. Robert Mack Lane, one of the early members of the now disbanded Victoria College Craigdarroch Castle Alumni Association. Dr. Lane was a graduate of Victoria College, but was born in 1921. This means that he did not use the 1923-1924 Calendar when a student at the Castle. Its full history of use is unknown.
