Description
A black and white photograph of three children between the ages of three and five standing in front of a building with panabode siding.
Narrative

These three siblings are great great grandchildren of Robert and Joan Dunsmuir, builders of Craigdarroch Castle. The subjects are, from left to right, Robert Arthur Deyo Clelland (1947-?), Jacqueline Pearl Clelland (b. 1946), and Sharon Patricia Clelland (b.1947). The photograph is believed by the donor to have been taken at Saltair, Vancouver Island, but her first cousin is certain that the house depicted is John William Bryden’s beach house at Royston, Vancouver Island. The photograph was collected to aid in the understanding and presentation of the history of the Dunsmuir family.

History of Use
Elizabeth Joan Bryden obtained this folder photograph in about 1951.  It was inherited by her daughter, the donor, and donated to Craigdarroch Castle in 2018.
