A small hard-cover book. The surface of the cover is textured bright red-coloured paper glued over heavy weight cardstock. In the centre of the front cover is the title in gold upper-case lettering. The remainder of the front cover is ornately decorated in an embossed design of vines, leaves, flowers outlined in black. In the bottom left corner is the publisher's name printed in red within a black-coloured medallion. The back cover is plain. The entire book is one long folding page of individual gray and white images of Victoria, Nanaimo, Alaska, totem poles on Haida Gwaii (also known as the Queen Charlotte Islands), Vancouver, Hope, Kamloops, the Fraser Canyon, Banff, Rocky Mountains, Rogers Pass, railway trestles and the Dunsmuir's Wellington Collieries and coal wharves at Departure Bay.History of Use
