Beaufort House in Cumberland, B.C. was the residence of the general manager for the mines in Cumberland. It was built as a company house in 1898 and the first resident was Francis Deans "Dib" Little and family. The next resident was John William Bryden, the son of John Cowper Bryden and Elizabeth Hamilton Dunsmuir.
