Description
A cream-coloured soft paper booklet bearing a printed list of regulations for horse-drawn carriages bearing the words "Coronation of Their Majesties King Edward VII. And Queen Alexandra at Westminster Abbey, on Saturday, 9th August, 1902." in upper-case and lower-case lettering together with other words describing the route to follow to reach the prescribed entrances to Westminster Abbey.
Narrative
This printed description of regulations related to the movement of carriages to Westminster Abbey was needed by attendees so that they would arrive in a timely manner at the Abbey entrance prescribed on their admission ticket.

This list of regulations is part of other ephemeral papers in this accession related to the Coronation of Their Majesties King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra and was collected to aid in the understanding and presentation of the Dunsmuir family story.
History of Use
This list of carriage regulations was used by Berkeley Holme-Sumner, R.N. and Mrs. Margaret Joan Harvey (Mrs. Berkeley Holme-Sumner) until it was inherited by their daughter Georgiana Holme-Sumner (Mrs. Robert Dunlop Stewart) in England, and later, in Scotland by her son, who donated it to The Castle Society in 2022.
