Description
Two joined bars of multi-coloured military ribbons affixed to metal backings with a long, hinged pin attached on the back.
Narrative
This set of military ribbons was owned by Captain Berkeley Holme-Sumner (RN) CBE OBE (1872-1943), husband of Margaret Joan Harvey (1871-1952), who was a granddaughter of Robert and Joan Olive Dunsmuir.

History of Use
These ribbons were used by Captain Berkeley Holme-Sumner (RN) CBE OBE (1872-1943) in England until his death in 1943. They were inherited and used by his daughter Georgiana Holme-Sumner in England, and later, in Scotland by her son, who donated them to The Castle Society in 2022.
