One sepia-toned photograph of a woman and a gentleman mounted on cardstock with gilt bevelled edge. They stand behind a cut stone pillar that is waist-height. Behind them is a painted landscape, indicating that the photograph was taken in a studio. The woman is wearing a dark-coloured skirt, a matching jacket, and a hat. The gentleman is in a lightly coloured suit with matching vest. In his left hand is a walking stick and a hat. At the bottom of the photograph embossed in upper-case lettering is "ADRIAN SMYTHE LLANDUDNO" There are no printed or other markings on the verso.Narrative
This photograph was taken in Llandudno, north Wales, UK. According to the donor, the woman in this photograph is Margaret Joan Harvey (1871-1952). The woman does not closely resemble other known images of Margaret Joan Harvey. The gentleman is unidentified.History of Use
The donor of this photograph is a great great grandson of Robert and Joan Olive Dunsmuir. This photograph was used by his family in England and Scotland before it was donated to The Castle Society in 2022.Dimensions
