Dark brown leather picture frame with gold detail around the edges. Hinged easel stand on the back. Backing board is held in place with two small brass tabs.Narrative
Elizabeth Joan Bryden (1906-1960), also known as Betty Bryden, graduated from Victoria’s Royal Jubilee Hospital nursing school in March, 1930. 1. She was a great granddaughter of Robert and Joan Dunsmuir, builders of Craigdarroch Castle. This frame and the photograph it contains were collected to aid in the understanding and presentation of the history of the Dunsmuir family.

Elizabeth Joan Bryden obtained this frame when she graduated from the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s nursing school in 1930 It was inherited by her daughter, the donor, and donated to Craigdarroch Castle in 2018. Date
