Narrative

Elizabeth Joan Bryden (1906-1960), also known as Betty Bryden, graduated from Victoria’s Royal Jubilee Hospital nursing school in March, 1930. 1. She was a great granddaughter of Robert and Joan Dunsmuir, builders of Craigdarroch Castle. The photograph was collected to aid in the understanding and presentation of the history of the Dunsmuir family.

History of Use
Elizabeth Joan Bryden obtained this photograph when she graduated from the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s nursing school in 1930 It was inherited by her daughter, the donor, and donated to Craigdarroch Castle in 2018.
