A black and white photograph glued to heavy card depicting Elizabeth Hamilton Dunsmuir (Mrs. John Bryden) at about age 40, taken from the chest up, her hair combed up and pinned in curls on the top of her head with short curly bangs, a large dark satin bow at the back of her head, dark eyes and rounded face, her costume heavy metal and beaded earrings, stand-up lace trim emerging from dark-coloured stand-up collar with large flat bow at the front with tails hanging down the front, around her neck a long chain with a large pendant, an irregularly shaped 4cm wide label glued to the area below the image bearing in machine-printed gold fancy script "Savannah Victoria, B.C." on the verso centre top handwritten in pencil "Mrs. John Bryden".Narrative
