Black and white photograph of a a baby (Jacqueline Pearl Clelland) standing against a floral patterned couch. The baby is approximately one year old with her face turned toward the camera. She is dressed in a light coloured crochet dress and leather bootees. There is a teddy bear on the couch beside her.

Narrative

This photograph depicts Jacqueline Pearl Clelland (b.1946), taken at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel in about 1948. Ms. Bryden was a great granddaughter of Robert and Joan Dunsmuir. The photograph was collected to aid in the understanding and presentation of the history of the Dunsmuir family.

History of Use

Elizabeth Joan Bryden obtained these photographs and folio in about 1948.  It was inherited by her daughter, the donor, and donated to Craigdarroch Castle in 2018.
