Description
One oval-shaped lithographic portrait of Victoria, Princess Royal (later HM The Queen) in a printed cartouche with a printed ribbon at its top. She is looking at the artist, and has fair skin and brown hair parted in the middle. She wears a white dress. There is an indistinct signature in pencil beneath the cartouche. The print is in a plain wooden frame.
Narrative
This print depicts Victoria, Princess Royal before the beginning of her reign, which was from 1832 to 1901.

The donor of this print, Dorothy Laundy (nee Kennedy), was a long-term volunteer at Craigdarroch Castle, serving as President of The Castle Society, and later, as Chatelaine of the Castle. 
History of Use
This print was owned by the donor's father, David Alexander Kennedy (1864-1947) co-founder (with his brother) of the famed Kennedy Galleries of New York City. The donor felt the frame was probably made in the gallery's workshop. 

The donor, Dorothy Laundy (nee Kennedy) inherited this print from her parents and used it at her home in Victoria, B.C. until 1993 when she donated it to Craigdarroch Castle.
