Description

One black and white photograph of Laura Miller Dunsmuir sitting in a striped folding lawn chair with her feet resting on a wooden box with stenciled lettering reading: "Crosse and Blackwell Fancy Crab". She is holding up a small child wearing a bonnet. The Cowichan River is in the background. On the back of the photograph in the top right "J-14" is written in pencil.

Narrative

The child in this photograph is Jill Nicola Humphreys, granddaughter of Laura Miller Dunsmuir. It was taken at the Dunsmuir's Cowichan River fishing lodge property. 

History of Use

This photograph was donated by a great grandson of Laura and James Dunsmuir.
