Description
One black and white photograph of Arthur Selden Humpreys, about age 50, lighting a smoking pipe indoors. On the front of the photograph, in the bottom left corner, "Studio Hugo" and "Cheltenham" are written in pencil. On the back of the cardstock which the photograph is mounted to is written in pencil on the right side "P-3" and "walking to church with nesch (?) family Last Sun Sat next me". A 2 cm line is drawn vertically on the bottom right of the cardstock in pencil. In the center "2024/3" is written in pencil.
Narrative
Arthur Selden Humphreys was married to Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir.
History of Use

This photograph was used by the Dunsmuir family in Britain, at Hatley Park, and on the British Columbia mainland before it returned to Vancouver Island. It was donated to The Castle Society by a grandson of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir in 2007.
