Description
One sepia-toned photographic portrait of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir, the image circular and printed on cream-coloured paper. She has short finger-waved hair and has a fur collar or stole around her neck. On the back of the photograph in pencil "GRANDMOTHER" is written and in the bottom left corner "KATHLEEN DUNSMUIR" is written in pencil.
Narrative
Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir was a daughter of James and Laura Dunsmuir, and granddaughter to Robert and Joan Dunsmuir.
History of Use
This photograph was used by the Dunsmuir family at Hatley Park. It was later used on the British Columbia mainland before it returned to Vancouver Island. It was donated to The Castle Society by a grandson of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir in 2007.
