One sepia-toned photograph of a small child dressed in a light-coloured dress, tights, and a bonnet. She is holding a toy in her left hand and is looking towards the camera. On the back of the photograph in pencil "P-27" is written in the top left corner.
Narrative
This early photograph of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir was taken Burleith, the Victoria home of her parents, James and Laura Dunsmuir.
History of Use
This photograph was used by the Dunsmuir family at Burleith, Government House, and at Hatley Park. It was later used on the British Columbia mainland before it returned to Vancouver Island. It was donated to The Castle Society by a grandson of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir in 2007.
