Description
One black & white photograph depicting a man and a woman (Jessie Muriel "Muriel" Dunsmuir) dancing as actors in theatrical costume. On the front of the photograph in the bottom right corner is the photographers stamp "Gibson Victoria, BC". On the back in pencil "MOULIE" is written.
Narrative
The woman at left in this photograph is Jessie Muriel "Muriel" Dunsmuir, a daughter of James and Laura Dunsmuir. The actor playing the role of the man at right is probably female.

The Dunsmuir women were intensely interested in the arts, including musical theatre.
History of Use
This photograph was used by the Dunsmuir family at Hatley Park and on the mainland of British Columbia before returning to Vancouver Island. It was donated to The Castle Society by a grandson of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir in 2007.
