Description
A photograph on cardstock of 6 girls lined up in a row from shortest to tallest from left to right. They are all wearing light-coloured dresses, stockings and shoes. On the front of the photograph on the top centre is written "Dunsmuir girls m. 1900" in pencil. The back of the photograph lists the photographer, Mrs.R. Maynard, and her studio information.
Narrative
The inscription on the front of this image indicates the image was taken in 1900. Based on the ages of the girls, a more accurate year is 1893.
History of Use
This photograph was donated by a grandson of Kathleen Euphemia Dunsmuir. It was probably used by the Dunsmuir family in Victoria and Vancouver until 2007 when it was given to The Castle Society.
