Description
One black and white photograph of Laura Miller Dunsmuir seated in a wicker chair outside the Dunsmuir fishing lodge on the Cowichan River. Her granddaughter (Joan Muriel Humphreys) in a light-coloured costume sits on her lap. Her grandson (James Selden Humphreys dressed in overalls stands beside them with a baby carriage behind him. On the back of the photograph top right "J-12" is written in pencil. Additionally on the back of the photograph top center "Grandmother Jim + Joan" and below this "15" is written in pencil.
Narrative
Laura Dunsmuir is the wife of James Dunsmuir. The two children are James and Joan Humphreys. The Friends of Hatley Park believe this was taken at Cowichan River in 1920. 
History of Use
This photograph was donated to Craigdarroch Castle by Laura Dunsmuir's great grandson.
