A black hard-cover record book with red stripes along the top and bottom. Book has lined paper inside. On the cover is an adhered paper label with gold trim and lettering, "Visitors Register Craigdarroch Castle". Inside are hand written names and dates.

Narrative

This book records visits to Craigdarroch Castle from July 16, 1967 to October 13, 1986 when Dunsmuir descendant Stefan Hudson signed his name. This visitors book was used intermittently and brought out by Society President James K. Nesbitt from time to time – both for regular and special visitors. For example, there are individual group visits by Dunsmuir descendants recorded, and one group tour from members of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly. This is one of The Castle Society’s earliest records documenting visits to Craigdarroch Castle.
