Positive photograph of five people (James and Laura Dunsmuir with one of their daughters and two unidentified women) on a dirt road. Behind the group is a fenced yard and a wooden two story house with a balcony across the front (the Dunsmuir's Departure Bay house). An out building can be seen behind the house. Two cows are behind the group on the side of the yard. There are several decorative trees in the yard and forest in the background.

This photograph is part of an accession of Dunsmuir family photograph albums that were owned by Dola Frances Dunsmuir and bequethed to her sister Kathleen's daughter, Judith Marie Kathleen Humphreys.
