This photograph depicts the 1929-1930 Victoria College women’s field hockey team standing against the northeast facade of Craigdarroch. The donor’s mother, Isabel Marrion, is fifth from left. Second from left is Nan Eve, whose daughter donated to Craigdarroch a field hockey sweater worn by her mother (see 2007.16). The sweater Nan Eve wears in this photograph does not have the VC crest or the year patch attached to sweater 2007.16. The crests might have been added after this photograph was taken, or the sweater in this photograph might not be 2007.16.History of Use
This photograph was first owned by Victoria College student Isabel Marrion, who is the woman standing fifth from left. It was next owned by her daughter, who donated it to The Castle Society.Date
