The taxidermist of this peacock specimen, LaVerne Holmes, decided to mount the bird with its wings outspread, a technique he had not seen previously executed on a peacock. This specimen is named LaVerne in his honour.History of Use
This peacock lived and died in the Mill Bay area of Vancouver Island. It was taxidermied in about 2010 and purchased by The Castle Society in 2014.Date
