Description
A black and white photograph of TSSY Dolaura Chief Engineer Alfred William Greaves, his costume a ship's uniform, Greaves facing slightly to his left with his hands in his jacket pockets, and black peaked cap with a badge on the centre front; his jacket is double breasted with four rows of shiny buttons, on the cuffs are three rows of braid; both his jacket and pants are dark in colour; he is wearing a white shirt with a dark collared tie; the background of the image is hanging drapery in a studio. Reverse is stamped as a postcard with an area on the left for correspondence and on the right for name and address, in the top right corner is a square outlined in AAZOA where a postage stamp would be placed. This card was never mailed.

Alfred William Greaves, Chief Engineer of the Dunsmuir yacht, TSSY Dolaura, was 27 years of age in this photograph. 
History of Use
This photograph was first used by Mr. Greaves and his wife, and next by his daughter Hilda, who donated it to Craigdarroch Castle.
