The donor of this specimen wished The Castle Society to keep a record that her family had named this specimen Zachary.History of Use
This Rocky Mountain big horn sheep was shot by the donor's late husband, Desmond Grant Smith in the Province of Alberta's Willmore Wilderness Park in 1977. He was an employee of the Alberta Fish and Wildlife Branch. The hidden wooden shield-shaped mount for the head was fabricated by a staff member of the Royal BC Museum in Victoria in 1988.Date
