A cone-shaped brass light fixture fragment, the cone cut with flaps to permit venting of heat, the outside edges of the cone are cut in a scallop-shaped manner, and the top is finished with a coiled cone of brass wire.History of Use
This light fixture fragment is part of a light fixture installed at Craigdarroch Castle in 1890 and has been in Craigdarroch since then. It is not known which room(s) or outside area it was used in during the Dunsmuir period.
It is one of many light fixture fragments found in "a long closed-off attic" by a Society employee in 1972.1
