Description
One crocheted white cotton drinking glass cover. It is in the form of a cross, with a small pom-pom at each right-angle of the cross (a total of eight (8) pom-poms).
Narrative
This crocheted drinking glass cover was designed to prevent flies and other insects from falling into beverages. 
History of Use
The donor of this drinking glass cover stated in 1985 that it had been made by the late Miss Rankha Anderson, and that Miss Anderson's brother James Anderson was employed at Craigdarroch Castle when he was a boy. The dates of this employment and the nature of the work is unknown.
