Description
One mahogany footstool with cabriole legs. It has a woolen needlepoint top consisting of flowers and leaves on a cream background.
History of Use
The needlework on this footstool was done by Mrs. Herbert William Davey and given by her to The Castle Society in 1980. 1

Mrs. Davey and her husband, Chief Justice Herbert W. Davey of the BC Court of Appeal, used this stool at their Victoria house. 

The history of the stool's frame is unknown. It likely dates to about 1870.
