A silver-plated humidor with a hinged lid. Atop this lid is a three-dimensional silver cigar. The sides of the box feature a relief of foliage and flowers. The interior of the humidor is lined in wood. History of Use
This cigar box was donated to The Castle Society in 1980 by Mrs. Herbert W. Davey. She had inherited from her father T.W. "Tommy" Allen, formerly of British Columbia's Pacific Salvage Company, who had won it in a shooting match.
Mrs. Davey and her husband, Chief Justice Herbert W. Davey of the BC Court of Appeal, used it at their Victoria house. 1
