Description
Large six curved panels of slag art glass coloured in blue with mottled pink and white that form a canopy-like removable glass shade. The glass is covered with repeating pierced metal panels depicting a scene of trees. The tall shaft and base are cast metal. On the base is a relief pattern of garlands of flowers and ridged stems. At the shaft are two light sockets.
Narrative
This American lamp is sometimes called a "Tiffany lamp" by Castle visitors, but this example was not made by the studio of Louis Comfort Tiffany.
