A white porcelain jardinière hand-painted in stylized foliate and floral motifs in green, blue, red and yellow colours, the flat stepped pedestal base with one band of gold, the upper rim painted dark red with three bands of gold below it alternating in thick, thin, and thick lines, the base with one drainage hole in the centre, the bottom of the base marked KPM in blue beneath the clear glaze, a single blue line leading from above the P to the centre hole, the number 6991 painted by hand in red, an indistinct impressed mark of a 0 above a possible number 2 separated by a horizontal line.
