Description

A white glazed earthenware moustache cup or mug, a gold line atop the scalloped rim, inside the top opening an earthenware strap with scalloped and gilded edges of dimensions suitable for keeping liquids off of a moustache while still allowing fluids to pass into the user's mouth, on the body exterior a black transfer-print image of Ripon Cathedral with its name beneath, the image encircled by a gold line, on the outside bottom of the cup the words 'Made in Germany' in uppercase font inside a brown-coloured circle.

Narrative

This unusual cup is designed to allow the moustached user to drink from it while keeping the liquid from moistening the moustache.
