Description
One sepia-toned photograph of five uniformed men standing on the deck of TSSY Dolaura. The shortest man is on the right and the tallest is at the left. The man in the centre is the eldest, and has white hair and a large drooping moustache. All the men are dressed in a uniform of dark coloured double breasted jackets with four sets of two buttons on the front and one set of two on each cuff. Just above the cuffs are horizontal strips. They all wear dark pants, a white shirt, a dark tie, black boots, and white peaked cap with a black brim and a badge on the centre front. Tied to the ship's upright rigging, behind and to the left of the men, is a large dark coloured awning. The sea in the background is calm. Low forested hills are in the background. The photograph is glued to dark grey-coloured heavy cardstock, which acts like a mat to frame the image.
Narrative
This photograph appears to have been taken in British Columbia, judging by the trees on the shoreline.

TSSY Dolaura had space for 29 crew members, though the precise number of crew members at various times is not yet known.

Alfred William Greaves, Engineer, is second from the left in this photograph. George Wharf is at far right.
