One cardboard box for holding face powder, the box in a squat cylindrical shape with bright red-coloured paper over heavy weight paper-card support, the box in two parts, the top lid (b) (1.6cm H) slips over the outside wall of the bottom container (a) (3.2cm H), creating the appearance of the top and bottom being equal in size, the top with a bright red background with a side profile of a young woman (Edna Wallace Hopper) with black, chin-length hair, her gaze downward with her arms outstretched to waist level, her costume a black-coloured strapless dress, the outer edge of the lid with a band of gold colouring and bordered inside with a garland of 17 white daisies, the words "LIGHT FACE POWDER" printed on the dress at hip-level. On the bottom of the box are three paragraphs in black text on a beige background elaborating on the quality and virtues of the face powder. Narrative
