Description
One 1953 black and white American press photograph depicting Edna Wallace Hopper. She is sitting at her trading desk on Wall Street NYC. She is touching the stock ticker with one hand while holding a telephone receiver with the other.
Narrative
Ms. Hopper was the stepdaughter of Alexander Dunsmuir. Her business acumen enabled her to rise to highest levels in business, a story that this photograph effectively communicates. 
History of Use
This photograph was released by American Press (AP) in New Yok City on May 20, 1953 for use by unspecified print media. Its subsequent history of use is unknown. The inscription suggests the photograph was taken in 1952.
