Description
One Royal Worcester, flat topped, porcelain thimble. The rim at the top and body is a stipe of gold. Between is the hand painted design a blue and orange kingfisher sitting on a branch.
Narrative
William Powell was one of Royal Worcester's greatest artists in the painting of native English birds. He painted thimbles from 1900 to 1950.
