Description
One long and flat radiator brush, the wooden handle with a slight curve terminating in a single row of 32 tufts of black natural hair bristles (10cm L X 6H X .8W) stuck into drilled-out holes along the underside, the pattern number stamped into the side of the handle.
Narrative
This is one of two radiator brushes found on-site in the Castle in the 1970's. They were probably new when they were first used on radiators at Craigdarroch. Their thin design allows the user to brush dust off of the areas between the many sections of cast-iron used to make steam and hot-water heating radiators.

These brushes have probably been used at the Castle from when they were new. They were found on-site in the 1970's.
