This postcard depicts the Vancouver Coal Mining and Land Company's wharf in Nanaimo, B.C., circa 1900. Robert Dunsmuir worked for that company early in his mining career. History of Use
This card was among three purchased in 1988 for The Castle Society. Before then, it was used for correspondence by Abner N. Garland. It appears to have been page three of a letter, and was not used as a standard postcard.Date
