One cardstock boarding pass. R. Dunsmuir's signature is handwritten in pencil at the top right corner and in the bottom right corner in ink. Printed on the front of the pass in black ink is "1887 Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway British Columbia. PASS Until December 31st 1887 Subject to the Conditions Endorsed Hereon. No. 1 President". The year 1887 is altered in pencil to read "1888" beside R. Dunsmuir's first signature. The "No. 1" is partially printed in black ink but the "1" is stamped in blue ink. To the lower right of "No. 1" the year "1888" is written in pencil, apparently in Robert Dunsmuir's handwriting. On the verso are the printed terms and conditions of use of the pass. Narrative
