Biography

James K. Nesbitt was founding President of the Society for the Preservation and Maintenance of Craigdarroch Castle, later known as the Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum Society and The Castle Society. He started his working life as a newspaper delivery boy, became a reporter for the Victoria Times, and eventually a columnist in several British Columbia newspapers. He was also the Dean of the Legislative Press Gallery and a noted historian.
